People do not live in a solid physical body, rather we are always also living in space.
By space I mean at least two interactive places: one is the space within the body- that constantly morphing container of our living experience. When we feel pressured or stressed the space gets smaller. When feeling more integrated, our sense of spaciousness expands. These observations are absolutely reliable, consistent, cross-cultural and very important. In fact, your work as a Feldenkrais practitioner and your joy/peace as a human being can be radically effected through working with the inner sense of spaciousness.
